A B2B tech design and content agency is looking for a Mid-Weight Copywriter, with a focus on fintech, to join their team.
The facts:
You’ll be part of a small team, using your expertise in the tech field to understand complicated technical descriptions of tech products and turn them into user-friendly, engaging copy for lots of different teams within a large global client.
You love creating longform copy that connects with business audiences. You’re great at making sense of technical jargon, understanding where a product fits, and the environment it sits in. You can absorb technical information and transform it into compelling thought leadership pieces, product information sheets, data sheets, white papers, and brochures.
If you have the right attitude and willingness to learn, you’ll thrive in this environment. You’ll be working closely with a passionate team of creatives and the head of content to produce meaningful copy for long-standing clients in tech and fintech, so there’ll be plenty of opportunities to develop your skillset in this area.
You’ll be:
- Able to unpack and communicate a fintech product’s proposition or theme
- Able to write able to write clear, engaging, long form copy for a senior level audience that isn’t highly technical. This is not a technical writing role.
- Doing thorough desktop research to understand the environment of a specific product.
- Passionate about tech and already familiar with the language.
- Working with a small engaged creative team and working closely with thoughtful designers
- A self-starter. Able to ask intelligent questions and get to a first draft to help a client define what they want
- Working closely with a head of content
You’ll have:
- 3-5 years’ experience B2B tech copywriting (please include relevant examples in your portfolio).
- Experience of the fintech ecosystem (a very nice to have)
- An understanding of how agencies work: the pace and cadence of projects and reading a client’s needs.
This isn’t a role for technical writers. Your audience is senior, but not technical.
Please attach CV and folio of writing.
