The speed read:
A Branded Environments team within an Architecture and Design studio are looking for a Senior Wayfinding Designer for a 6-12 month contract.

The facts:
The agency works in Wayfinding, Placemaking and Branded Environments and it has a design aesthetic on a par with the best London design studios. You will get to work in a large multi-disciplinary, global design studio that partner with famous architects.

You do need to have proven wayfinding design experience to deliver what’s needed in this role and you will need to have worked on either a transport/travel or infrastructure wayfinding system. If you have worked on an airport, that would be the holy grail.

You will be designing solid but innovative and thought-provoking wayfinding and signage design systems for large spaces. You need enough technical understanding to bring value to the project.

You will be 3 days a week in a lovely studio (central London): two fixed, one floating.

You’ll be:

  • A confident Wayfinding Designer with an understanding of placemaking and visual identity.
  • Extremely organised experienced in project management and client liaison.
  • A confident communicator with colleagues and clients

You’ll have:

  • Created wayfinding systems for large infrastructure projects and/or transport systems.
  • A beautiful portfolio of work showing design and wayfinding in spaces.
  • Full Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign). Other softwares are a bonus (eg. Rhino but not a must-have).

Please attach CV and Portfolio/Link to website (for design roles)
Applicants must be living in and have the right to work in the UK.
